A huge milestone for the youth program of the NTSV Wildcats: our U19 team has officially qualified for the NBBL (Nachwuchs Basketball Bundesliga), Germany’s top-level youth basketball league!

After a narrow 61:68 loss in the opening game against @mba.basketball, the team bounced back with a strong performance and a 73:81 win over @phoenix_jugend, securing a spot in Sunday’s second phase.

On Sunday, the Wildcats needed to win both games to qualify — and they delivered. In the first match against tournament hosts @bgz_nbbl, the team overcame a 7-point

halftime deficit to win 55:59. In the second game, they dominated @suedwestbaskets in the second half and closed out with an impressive 82:49 victory.

Thanks to BG Zehlendorf's narrow win over the Mitteldeutsche Basketball Akademie in their final match, the Wildcats secured second place in the group — enough to earn their spot in the NBBL!
